Your child is as precious to us as they are to you.  Our aim is to support them in their growth to adulthood whilst also trying to ensure that their academic outcomes are as good as they can be and their future pathways as ambitious and as appropriate as possible.  Look at our Progression pages to see our ambitions for your child.  We are committed to obtaining them.

Your role in this is vital.  Without your support we can't get the best from and for your child.  Thanks in advance for providing it.

We don't always get it right, mind, and we do need to know when this is the case.  We will do our best to solve problems as and when they arise, and will always try to ensure that they don't arise in the first place.  Please send compliments, comments and complaints our way so that we can act on them.

A key component of a sucessful relationship between parents, child and school is good communication.  Don't be afraid to contact your child's teachers if there's something you need to ask.  For pastoral matters, your child's tutor is the first person to contact.  The best way is probably via email, although we also respond to letters and phone calls.  Staff emails take the following format: J. Smith on your child's timetable becomes jsmith@thomastallis.org.uk

Please keep in touch!
