Bursary Scheme
Tallis is very keen to support students from families with low incomes. We want aptitude and hard work to govern how someone does, not the amount of money a person has.
Bursary applications are made online just after the start of each school year, generally in October. We use a points-based bursary scheme to decide how much we can award each applicant.
Applications for bursaries are now open: you can apply using this link. You will need an account with Applicaa to make the application.
All bursaries are conditional on satisfactory attendance and completion of work.
We can't award cash bursaries or refund invoices for purchases. Instead, bursary holders simply liaise with their subject teachers who can authorise the school to order books and textbooks, buy stationary, buy tickets for super-curricular activities, or make contributions towards trips or journeys - all on behalf of bursary-holders.
