Bursary Scheme
Tallis is very keen to support students from families with low incomes. We want aptitude and hard work to govern how someone does, not the amount of money a person has.
Bursary applications are made online just after the start of each school year, and are awarded from October. We use a points-based system to to decide how much we can award each applicant. The amount a student receives will be based on their level of need and circumstances and therefore varies from student to student.
We do not award cash but instead order equipment requested by students, to support them in their academic studies.
Applications can be made via this link. Year 13 students are required to reapply at the start of Year 13, if they received a Bursary in Year 12.
All bursaries are conditional on satisfactory attendance and completion of work.
