Monika Sutkute  "passionate and enthusiastic"

Picture
I am very honoured to say thank you to all of my teachers at Thomas Tallis for the first steps that they helped me to make to where am I now. Being very much interested in the arts, the Sixth Form provided me with creative and professional teaching and suitable environment for it. It is always extremely inspiring to learn from people who are passionate at what they do - all the advice they gave me is still used and seen in the work I produce.

Encouraging creative thinking and my teachers' support helped me to develop my own personal style of work, which is an essential skill for your portfolio when applying for Higher Education in Creative Studies.

After Sixth Form I've got into Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design to do a year of Foundation course. Thomas Tallis prepared me with a multidisciplinary base for knowledge and creativity which is a big plus in the creative industries.

Now I am at Chelsea College of Art & Design doing a BA in Spatial & Interior Design with great opportunities ahead of me. Through all these study years I've learned that you design your own future by being passionate and enthusiastic in work that you love to do, and I am grateful for the inspiring staff at Thomas Tallis School who taught me this and who have always been by my side throughout the progress of growing into what I am as a creative person now.
