I spent three highly memorable years at Thomas Tallis School: from 2005 to 2008. Two of those years were spent as an A-level student studying maths, physics, chemistry and biology at the Post-16 Centre and one as a member of staff working as a learning support assistant with the Speech and Language team. There isn't enough space for the superlatives I would use to describe my time there, needless to say I'm still reaping the rewards to this day. Thomas Tallis School is a wonderful place where confidence and aspiration are nurtured and I will be forever thankful to its staff for equipping me with the skills to make a seamless transition into one of the most demanding university courses.
From 2008 to 2011, I read preclinical medicine and obtained a degree in Medical Sciences at Pembroke College, Oxford. I'm currently in the process of completing my clinical training in London at Imperial College School of Medicine and I hope to return to Oxford thereafter to obtain an MRC-funded DPhil in neuroscience.
