ARTS COLLEGE APPLICATIONS
Thomas Tallis School has a well-established history as a centre for creativity. Our Arts provision in the sixth form is fantastic and we place students in the very best art colleges in the country every year. In 2014-2015, forty of our students won a place at Art Colleges as various as Camberwell, Chelsea, Ravensbourne and the like; in 2015-2016 35 went; in 2016-2017 27 went, including four to St Martins (10:1 applicants to places) and three to Kingston (10:1, again).
The secret of our success? Great art teaching, and a dedicated Arts College Coordinator, Mr Kiff, who oversees all applications for Foundation courses and arts degrees.
Thomas Tallis 16+ Centre now works in close partnership with Ravensbourne College, University of the Creative Arts, Central St. Martins, Camberwell, Chelsea, Wimbledon Progression Centre and London College of Fashion. We offer every arts student personal guidance and support throughout the application process from the writing of the personal statement, through to the portfolio interview.
Maintaining a contemporary approach to learning and teaching is the key to our success. With a strong extra curriculum programme including life-drawing workshops, artists' talks, Open Studio critiques and Summer Schools, we offer a complete art and design experience.
