The Josh Beasley Award for Creativity
'I think every one should enter the Josh Beasley Award, especially those who don’t take a creative subject in GCSE or A-Level like Art or Music. Take a chance and enter that painting you did but slid under your bed or submit that story that you’ve written but locked away where no one will ever read the book. There’s nothing to lose!”
Lee Wilkins, Josh Beasley Award Winner About the Award
The Josh Beasley Award for Creativity is an annual Award open to students at Thomas Tallis in Years 9 to 13 who have a passion for music, writing, drama or art (including photography, film, animation). The Award celebrates the life and passions of Josh Beasley and aims to keep his spirit of creativity alive. How the Award is used, depends on who gets it and what their area of creativity is – the main things are that it supports the winner’s creative development and results in something active and visible taking place in the school. Winners receive £500 towards their creative development. |
